Service helps ex-offenders obtain pardons
X-Offenders for Community Empowerment has scheduled a series of Pardon Me Clinics that assist ex-offenders who are no longer on probation or parole and who are seeking clemency and a second chance at employment opportunities through the pardon process.
Clinics, which are held from 6-8pm, are held monthly at various locations throughout Philadelphia. The next set of clinics will take place on March 24th at Why Not Prosper, 717 E. Chelten Avenue in Germantown and at the Sayre/Morris Recreation Center, 5835 Spruce Street in West Philadelphia; and on April 1st in South Philadelphia at the Church of the Redeemer Baptist, 1440 South 24th Street (7-9pm).
Please bring $8 for the pardon application. For more details, call Wayne Jacobs at 267-325-0335.
