PA STEM Coalition Meeting – Feb 10

Posted by PA STEM Coalition on February 8, 2022

The upcoming PA STEM Coalition meeting, Getting involved in STEM Research Grants – a conversation with higher education and the benefits to our preK-12 school systems, will be held on February 10th, 2022 from 4:00 – 5:00 PM led by Amanda Smith, Director of K-12 Engagement at Penn State University with special guest, Dr. Kathleen M. Hill, Director of the Center for Science and the Schools at Penn State University.

Description: How can community partners of STEM Ecosystems be included in federal agency grants? STEM researchers at higher education institutions apply for federal grants to support their technical research projects. These grants often require an education/outreach component that will disseminate the research to non-technical audiences. This webinar will explore the ways in which community partners of STEM Ecosystems, including preK-12 schools and out-of-school programs, can be included in federal grants to improve K-12 STEM education.

Pre-register for the meeting and you can do so up until the meeting is set to start or during the meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
