Our next PA STEM Coalition Meeting: Career Ready PA well be held on October 21th, 2021 from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM led by Amanda Smith, Director of K-12 Engagement at Penn State and Laura Fridirici, Special Consultant to the Secretary of Education for Career Readiness, and the PDE career readiness state training support team.
Join PDE’s Career Readiness Advisor and Career Ready PA liaisons and engage in an interactive session to strengthen existing partnerships within the STEM Coalition and to expand new opportunities to increase career and work-based learning experiences for Pennsylvania learners. You will also hear updates about the Career Ready PA Coalition, including work group priority outcomes in Industry Credentials, Employability Skills, Preapprenticeship/Apprenticeship, and Career Pathways. Career and workforce readiness are integral to developing equitable access to career pathways for all Pennsylvania learners, through effective workforce training, aligned to workforce needs and departmental career readiness initiatives. Let’s pack their backpack!
Pre-register for the meeting and you can do so up until the meeting is set to start or during the meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
