PA MASLOW Student Stipends for Mental Health and Wellness
Posted by PA Department of Education on September 17, 2024
The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) is pleased to announce that STUDENTS at any PA Institution of Higher Education (IHE) or Private Licensed School (PLS) are eligible to apply for up to $500 as an individual or $1000 as a team to create a mental health program, activity, or gathering on campus to support student Mental Health. We encourage students to get creative! Priority will be given to undergraduate student applications, but graduate students may also apply.
The Mental Health and Wellness of Pennsylvania’s postsecondary learners is a top priority for PDE through our PA MASLOW collegiate basic needs work and our EmpowerU campaign.
Students will need a sponsor or mentor who works at the institution to provide support and guidance. The stipend will be awarded in October, and students will have until March 31, 2025, to complete their project. Final reports will be due April 30, 2025.
More information can be found on the PA eMarketplace. Please contact RA-EDGRANTSFIRST@pa.gov with any questions.
