PA Campus Compact Conference

It’s that time of year again. Pennsylvania Campus Compact will be holding its Annual Conference November 1-3, 2002 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Harrisburg, PA. This year’s theme will be Pennsylvania Higher Education: Realizing Public Purpose.
Tentative workshop topics include: Faculty Service-Learning Workshop; Liability and Ethics; Service-Learning and Social Justice; Campus/Community Partnerships; Service Politics/Leadership Skills; How to Run Training Programs; Volunteer Recruitment/Marketing to Students; Diversity in Service-Learning; Developmental Stages of Programs; and Transportation Issues.
Information about the conference (description, tentative schedule, hotel information, and registration form) is available on our website http://www.paccompact.org. You will also be receiving a copy of the materials in the mail. Please share the conference information with your faculty, staff, students, community partners, and anyone whom you think would be interested in attending the conference. Please photocopy the forms as needed. The conference registration deadline is October 4, 2002.
