PA Campus Compact Annual Conference

Pennsylvania Campus Compact’s Annual Conference will be held November 5-7, 2004 at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg East in Harrisburg, PA. This year’s theme is “Engaged Thinkers for Action.”

Proposals for workshop presentations are being accepted now. Please go to the PACC website at “http://www.paccompact.org/2004workshopproposals.html” to view more information on submitting a proposal to present a workshop. Workshop proposals are due September 17, 2004.

Tentative workshop topics include, but are not limited to:

* Volunteers in Tax Assistance (VITA);
* after-school tutoring programs;
* partnerships with community;
* student leadership and alternative break trips;
* service-learning and civic values;
* models of student civic action;
* campus program review process;
* federal workstudy; and
* Ready Campus Initiative.
