PA Association of Student Assistance Professionals Conference

Posted by on February 08, 2010

On behalf of the Pennsylvania Association of Student Assistance Professionals (PASAP) Board of Directors, I cordially invite you to our 20th Annual PASAP Conference.

Our theme this year is “Twenty Five Years…One Student at a Time.” We have a wonderful line up of keynote speakers and workshops again this year.

This will be a landmark dual celebration of 25 Years of Student Assistance in Pennsylvania and the 20th PASAP Conference. The conference will be held March 7-9, 2010 at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel in “Happy Valley,” PA.

You won’t want to miss the opportunity to glean new information regarding such topics as:

* Leadership for the 21st Century
* What Educators Need to Know to be Safe
* A Coordinated School Health Approach to Student Assistance
* Digital Safety and Awareness
* After School Interventions
* Getting ESAP Up and Running
* Gaming Addiction
* Integrating Bullying and Gang Prevention into your Student Assistance Program
* and much more.

Dr. Gerald Zahorchak, Secretary of Education, will also join the celebration and present us with some opening remarks and important updates at breakfast on Monday, March 8 .

In addition, we will offer some exciting opportunities to network through a team building exercise that will provide a donation to children as well as a chance to de-stress with some music, dancing, and even a little karaoke. Move over American Idol, we will be adding a prize for the best original SAP related song of the night!

You’ve worked so hard to help support the children of this Commonwealth. Please join us as we honor you and your efforts as well as provide some important tools for your toolbox.

We hope to see you there!
