Outreach Manager, Clarifi

The Outreach Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of a regional community outreach plan for Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware (emphasis on Delaware) as well as the expansion of on-going community/business partnerships. Key components of this position include helping to identify and secure revenue generating opportunities needed to support the organization’s mission and ensure sustainability and developing partnerships and business relationships throughout designated area to connect Clarifi’s counseling (including the Financial Empowerment Centers), coaching and education programs to community based groups, financial institution partners and employers.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in business development, finance, community outreach, or social-service delivery.
- Previous experience with financial-service industry and/or sales a plus.
- Ability to create partnerships and sustain key relationships.
- Strong drive to attain outcomes and passionate focus on the customer/client.
- Knowledge of the subjects of credit, debt, and money management; savings and investment options; and safe financial products and services strongly preferred.
- Existing networks and community relationships in Delaware a plus.
- Exceptional presentation, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Spanish preferred.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to complete projects independently while showing self-motivation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and simultaneous projects while showing a solid sense of follow-through, tenacity, forward thinking, and project management.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with courage to attempt new initiatives and ability to adjust quickly to changing circumstances or less-than-ideal outcomes.
- Energetic personality that thrives in a fast-paced and collegial environment.
- Computer literacy, including the ability to use the internet and e-mail, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of programs required. Experience with Salesforce TM and/or Efforts to Outcomes (ETO™) Software a plus.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with full-time access to a reliable, properly-registered and insured automobile and the ability and willingness to travel as necessary to meet the responsibilities of the position
