Outlook for Children and Families in the Next Congress

Public Citizens for Children and Youth will sponsor a public forum, Your Congress & Kids: Outlook for Children and Families in the Next Congress, a discussion with members of Southeastern Pennsylvania’s congressional delegation on Thursday, December 11th from 5:30-7:30pm at United Way, 17th & Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.
The event offers and opportunity for participants to hear what members of Congress think about prospects for improving child health, child care, child welfare, education and after school opportunities.
Expected participants include Representatives Robert Brady, Chaka Fattah, Jim Gerlach, Patrick Murphy, Allyson Schwartz and Joe Sestak and Senators Robert Casey and Arlen Specter.
