Three OSTRC focus groups will be conducted over the next few months. These will take place on Wednesday, December 1, Friday, December 10 and Saturday January 15 (choose one), all from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the University of Pennsylvania. Open to all direct-service staff who work in out-of-school time programs, the goal of these focus groups will be to gather first-hand information about what staff need and want in professional development, trainings, resources, technical assistance, etc. Participants will receive Department of Public Welfare training credits and a $25 stipend (as well as the opportunity to shape local staff development efforts). To register or for more information, please contact Jennifer Buher, OSTRC Research Coordinator, at (215) 898-2505 or [email protected]. Note: Sessions are filling up quickly!
