Organizing a National Agenda for a Young People’s Movement

On April 3, 2003, the National Organizers Alliance will sponsor a national summit for young Americans, “Toward a Common Struggle: Organizing a National Agenda for a Young People’s Movement.” The conference is designed to set forth an agenda and establish a national structure to address the problems facing young adults, such as racism, discrimination, and xenophobia. The Alliance invites all young people between the ages of 13 and 30 to attend, and anticipates 600 delegates from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
