Operations Manager position (12 months) at YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School, an alternative 12th-Grade-only, diploma-granting high school for high-school dropouts ages 18 to 21.
Background
YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School (YBPCS) is a second-chance program for motivated high school dropouts, ages 18-21. The one year program combines a rigorous academic curriculum with hands-on vocational training and community service. Students earn a high school diploma, an industry recognized certification, and transition to college and careers. The school enrolls approximately 215 students each year.

The vision of the newly-created Operations Manager position is to manage internal student data and provide students, direct service staff, and program team members with information to support student success towards graduation and post-secondary placement. Primary roles of the position are to manage key core element programs and provide school-wide communication and logistical support.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the Operations Manager are:
I. Managing Internal Student Data
Tracking Students’ Graduation Pathways
Enter and/or ensure the entering of graduation pathway data (attendance, grades, certification, and other information into our internal school database).
Student Data Communication /Report Generation
Support students, direct support staff, and program team to access internal database
Create department-wide and school-wide outcomes reports to support departmental and school-wide accountability for student outcomes
Generate student progress reports and report cards as scheduled throughout the school year to support student success
Create student rosters.
Student Files
File student paperwork into students’ individual student records
Manage process of obtaining students’ signatures and data for various paperwork
Audit student files to ensure that each student’s record contains required paperwork.
