Operation Understanding Student Ambassador Program
Applications are due March 15th
High school juniors that identify as African American and/or Jewish from throughout the Greater Philadelphia area are invited to apply each fall for the Operation Understanding Ambassadors program. OU develops a group of young African American and Jewish leaders knowledgeable about each other’s histories and cultures and offers tuition-free expedition across the country during the month of July.
OU seeks applicants who: demonstrate leadership ability, exhibit strong verbal communication skills, possess the desire and/or ability to work with others to promote understanding, and have a 3.0 GPA or above.
