Open Meadows supports programs for women, girls
The Open Meadows Foundation is a grantmaking organization that supports projects led by and benefitting women and girls, particularly those from vulnerable communities.
The foundation offers grants of up to $2,000 to projects that are designed and implemented by women and girls, reflect the diversity of the community served by the project in both its leadership and organization, promote building community power, promote gender, racial, social, economic, or environmental justice;, and have limited financial access or have encountered obstacles in their search for funding.
The organizational budget of an applicant organization should not exceed $150,000. Small and start-up organizations are strongly encouraged to apply.
The foundation does not fund organizations or projects in which women and girls are not the primary leaders and implementers. For more details, go here.
The deadlines for proposals are FEBUARY 15 and AUGUST 15 of each year.
