North Stars plan fall activities
Art Sanctuary, dedicated to presenting African American cultural and educational events in North Philadelphia, has opened registration for its North Stars after school program.
The group will sponsor an open house for families whose children are interested in poetry, dance or music to meet its artist-instructors and learn about how the after school program explores black history and culture through the arts. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 7th from 6:30-7:30pm at the Church of the Advocate, 1801 W. Diamond Street in Philadelphia. Orientation and registration will be held at the same time and place on Tuesday, October 14th, and classes begin on October 15th at 4:30pm.
