Open House during the Holiday Season Provides Opportunity to Support Local Organizations that Feed, Support and House the Homeless
Event Welcomes Center City Residents, Workers and Businesses
Two dozen local organizations* that provide food, housing and social services to the homeless year-round will be staffing information tables at an open house, designed to help communicate about what they do and how they could do much more to help homeless people if they had greater resources and financial support. Attendees will learn how they can volunteer their time, donate needed supplies or make tax-deductible charitable contributions to help end the cycle of homelessness.
When: Thursday, December 15, 2016
4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Mayor Jim Kenney will begin the event with opening remarks at 4:00 p.m.

Pennsylvania Convention Center, Meeting Room 108 A
(Enter at 12th and Arch Streets, West Entrance)
Details:
The city’s Office of Homeless Services and the Center City District are organizing the open house and the Pennsylvania Convention Center is donating the space.
