Come to an Open House at Tree House Books!
What: Tree House Books is marking the launch of our fall programs with a special Open House celebration. Join us for good food and great company, with inspiration from our speaker, Leonard Chester. Guests will also find out what’s new at Tree House, and see first hand how we are changing lives in the community together.
When: Tuesday, September 4th, 2018, 5:00 – 6:30 pm
Where: Tree House Books, 1430 W Susquehanna Ave, 19121
West Philadelphia native Leonard Chester will be speaking!
After his mother was deported, Leonard was raised by his grandmother, who did all she could to raise seven children with minimal support. When Leonard was a junior in high school, she passed away, and he realized that it was time to take his life more seriously.
Come here more about his journey in overcoming adversity, and how education helped him create a vision and a path for his future.
Fifty seats only, RSVP today!
