OCDEL’s Dichter to hold county meetings
The Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning will be hosting community meetings with Harriet Dichter, OCDEL Deputy Secretary, throughout Pennsylvania in the months of October and November.
The open discussions occur as low-income people needing child care and child care providers throughout the state are facing enormous challenges due to the delay in payments resulting from the state budget crisis, which is now in its fourth month.
The meeting in the southeastern Pennsylvania region will take place on Friday, October 30th from 9-10:30am at a location in Philadelphia still to be determined. Participants are asked to register in advance by emailing RA-dpwocdnet@state.pa.us. Note the day and time of the meeting you wish to attend in the Subject line of the email.
