Open Conversation with Adoptees – May 24
Posted by Monarch Connections on May 18, 2021
Hoping to adopt? Already did. Just care about Adoptees? This event is a MUST for #listeningtoadoptees and engaging with our perspective!
Listening and learning from adult adoptees, is vital.
If you have a family member who is an adoptee, or even one friend who is adopted, you should certainly listen in.
Monarch Connections runs a monthly gathering for the adult adoptee community called Adoptee Talk. Adoptee Talk is a private space so we can safely discuss the joys and struggles of being adopted.
This brief but full hour will allow you the opportunity to listen in, to somewhat “be a fly on the wall” to conversations and thoughts your child(ren), or friends may be having. The popular show This is Us can help generate some thoughts, however, this space actually allows you to talk back, ask questions, and connect to other like-minded folks.
Date and Time: Monday, May 24, 2021, 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Cost: $10
