Open Arms of Nicetown II is a Transitional /Emergency Housing for Veteran Men and is located in the Kensington section of Philadelphia Pa. OAON II focus is to reduce homelessness among the veteran population and aid our veterans in maintaining a productive lifestyle. As well as leading our veterans from homelessness to independence with supportive services geared to resolve underlying the core issues that’s facing our veteran population.
Open Arms of Nicetown II, is accessible to public transportation. Our facility caters to the homeless Veteran Men, who are living with PTSD and TBI and substance abuse issues. We provide our residents with dormitory style single bed accommodations. Broken down into what we call PODS. We also, provide nutritional meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have a laundry facility that residents can access. We provide a computer room, physical activities, social activities, a barber and cable television all which are located on the premises. Our facility also has a merit system designed for domestic and social re-engagement. We are handicap accessible.

Vision statement-OAON II is committed to reducing homelessness among the veteran population. Our goal is to deliver the highest quality of care and services to our veterans.
Veteran Supportive services-
Intensive Outpatient Programs, NA/AA on-site support groups, mental health support one on one and group (off-site)
Case management and one on one support (on-site), Peer support, VA transportation, VA Liaison, Employment (training, counseling and placement), financial empowerment/ restoration, laundry service, activities and outings, exercise room, GED classes.
