Join Friends Council on Education for this multigenerational, interactive evening of inspiration and hope, featuring panelists whose work is centered on climate activism and environmental justice. Hear their stories, learn from their experiences, and engage in conversation about one of the most pressing issues of our times.
Panelists include:
- Eileen Flanagan, Interim Campaign Manager, Earth Quaker Action Team, Award-winning author
- Laura Jackson, Biologist and researcher, Environmental Protection Agency (retired)
- Ingrid Lakey, Founder and volunteer with Earth Quaker Action Team
- Eric Toensmeier, Director, Perennial Agriculture Institute, Author and Permaculturalist
Participate in small groups for dialogue and sharing, engage in Q&A with the panelists, hear from Friends school student leaders, and clarify your own commitments for taking action and making a difference in 2022.
