(Audience may include: Instructors, Tutors) Participants will be able to experience, from the student perspective, instructional routines that align with high school equivalency assessment. Later, participants will discuss the implementation of the routines. Lastly, participants will analyze the challenges that may occur when implementing.
About the speaker: Maribel Ojeda currently works as an agency consultant for the Professional Learning Opportunities Project, Professional Development System, Division of Adult Education, PA Department of Education. She also works as an independent contractor, under the name MO Education Consultation, providing instructional coaching and workshops for adult education programs across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Maribel completed her teacher certification at Drexel University and has a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. She taught in Philadelphia public schools before moving into the field of adult basic education.
