How can we make and support effective bilingual or multilingual environments? We’ll unpack strategies for creating and sustaining effective bilingual or multilingual environments beyond translation. Participants learn how to communicate in various ways fundamental to developing intercultural understanding.
About the speaker: A native Philadelphian, Lisa returned to the US after over a decade in Asia. With degrees from Sarah Lawrence, NYU/ICP, and executive certificates in values-based leadership and social impact strategy from DePaul University and the University of Pennsylvania/Ortner Center, her professional background includes cross-sector and industry experience in media, DEI consulting, education, publishing, and business.
She has over 18 years of teaching experience within PreK-12, higher ed, and adult learning programs.
