Become a MW One-time Essay Volunteer
Join us for one or more nights of imagining — and writing — our futures this fall.
For both 8th graders applying to high school, and 12th graders applying to college
HIGH SCHOOL Essay Volunteers
Work with an 8th grader.
For Philly kids, getting into the right high school can mean getting into a good college, creating a domino effect of success in their lives.
In one night, 8th graders will work with you to navigate the high school admissions process (we’ll give you all the info you need!) and develop their admission essay.
Tues. November 7, 6-8pm
MW South, 1501 Christian St.

COLLEGE Essay Volunteers
Work with a 12th grader.
In Philadelphia, school police outnumber guidance counselors and most youth don’t even have access to a counselor.
Writers can help. Attend a session below and you’ll meet an awesome teen and discuss his or her future and college choices. Help them get started on the essay process, or read their draft and begin revising!
