One Book, One Philadelphia 2025
Posted by Free Library of Philadelphia on May 6, 2025
Now in its 23rd year, One Book One Philadelphia is an outstanding literacy and civic dialogue initiative that encourages the greater Philadelphia region to come together through reading and conversation. Programming in 2025 runs from April 11 through May 31 and includes a series of FREE events, online and in-person at Free Library locations across the city, exploring themes from the selected work and youth companion titles.
Philadelphians are invited to delve into this year’s featured selection, “The Upcycled Self,” by Tariq Trotter, while younger readers can join the conversation with discussions and programs inspired by our youth companion titles, including “Let Me Hear A Rhyme” for teen readers and “The Artivist” for younger readers.
