On-the-Job Training Reimbursements
This federally funded opportunity (locally funded by Philadelphia Works, Inc and carried out by PA CareerLink® Philadelphia) encourages employers to hire individuals who have the basic ability to perform a job, but may need additional training. The training can include proprietary software, specialized systems, machinery, etc. Most employers can receive up to $8,000 per eligible new hire during the training period. The rate of pay must be a minimum of $13/hr at a minimum of 30 hours per week. It is expected that the positions are full-time and permanent. This funding is available year round.
