Big Brothers Big Sisters International in Center City, Philadelphia is looking for a technologically savvy Office/Operations Manager. This is a full time position with benefits.

This person will be responsible for the day-to-day functioning of a small office, and will provide three people with general administrative support.

The Office/Operations Manager will be responsible for the following:
– Working with contracted IT professionals to maintain the computer systems
– Processing donation acknowledgements, and ensuring annual fund raising registrations are up to date
– Preparing outgoing mail, and assisting with the preparation of board mailings and meetings including photocopying, collating and binding such materials
– Reading and routing incoming mail
– Composing and typing routine correspondence
– Answering and routing telephone calls
– Copying and filing correspondence
– Securing all necessary office supplies, including the maintenance and purchase of office supplies and equipment
– Monitoring subscriptions
– Assisting with travel arrangements

Proficiency with website content management software is a plus, and knowledge of and experience with database management is desirable. Experience with Quickbooks is also a plus.

This person needs to be able to work closely with a small team in an open office environment, and must be willing to take on other tasks as needed.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

The applicant should be aware that the office may be relocating out of state at the end of July 2011.
