NYLC Annual Nat’l Service-Learning Conference: Student Showcase Applications – Jan 19
Posted by National Youth Leadership Council on December 22, 2020
The National Youth Leadership Council is honored to host the 32nd Annual National Service-Learning Conference, ‘Engage. Evolve. Energize!’ in a LIVE + on-demand format. On April 14 – 15, 2021, the Conference features two days of live virtual workshops, plenary sessions, student showcases, networking, and an opportunity fair for youths and adults.
Now- just for youth! Do you have a high-quality service-learning project you would like to highlight at the Conference? Consider being part of the Student Showcase. The Showcase highlights high-quality projects from across the country and is an opportunity to connect with participants to share how your project was implemented, how it was connected to curricular goals, and what made it effective.
Because we’re virtual this year, you will need to prepare a short (5 minute) presentation that you can deliver in a recorded format or live on April 14-15, 2021. Given the short timeframe, it works best to have no more than 2 presenters at a time.
Applications will only be accepted from K-12 or college students. Adults may co-present or assist. (Please remember that all presenters must register for the conference.)
Student Service-Learning Showcase applications are due Jan. 19, 2021.
