Nutrition lessons for low literacy adults

Below please find a resource for nutrition education lesson plans targeted toward older adults with low literacy skills created by The University of Georgia?s Nutrition Education Program. Lesson plans are grouped in series ranging from Fruits and Vegetables (12 lessons) to Whole Grains (5 lessons) to Food Security and Food Stamps (6 lessons); Diabetes and Medication Management are also included. Each lesson is ranked as either “Easy,” “Medium,” or “Hard,” based on the level of information.
