Nonviolent Communication Educators’ Institute
Posted by on June 4, 2007
You may have heard of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as developed by Marshall Rosenberg. He had his first book published in Philadelphia more than thirty years ago. Now this process is used all over the world. To learn more about NVC please check out http://www.CNVC.org. For five years four seasoned NVC trainers have offered a special 5 day NVC Educator’s Institute on the west coast of the US. This summer it will be held on the east coast for the first time, just outside of Boston, July 6 – 11, 2007. A scholarship fund is being created to send up to five educators who work in the Philadelphia Public Schools – teachers, principals, guidance counselors, anyone who works with students. The fund would cover tuition and room/board for the 5 day institute. The participants would need to provide their own transportation. The flier is attached. If you are interested in participating in this event, or would like to learn more about NVC in your area, please contact me.
