Nonprofit Management

Posted by La Salle Nonprofit Center on December 4, 2017

This class immerses you in the individual roles in which every senior nonprofit leader must work – fundraising, finance, human resources, marketing, programming and so on, while demonstrating the importance of their interconnectedness and interplay.

As a senior leader, you must juggle numerous roles and responsibilities, always within the context of how the pieces fit together in the overall organization. The class appreciates that your job is so much more than just assigning tasks, but is rooted in planning, organizing, leading and controlling, which is why it explains the key responsibilities of nonprofit management as well as the critical relationship among staff and board. Pathways to becoming a more effective leader, manager and facilitator are clarified, as is the ability to identify potential critical management issues so they can be addressed proactively.

This class is the ideal foundation for honing all future management skills and individual capacity building.

When and Where: January 18, 2018, 9 am to 4 pm, National Shrine of St. John Neumann, 1039 N. Lawrence St., Phila.
