Announcing the next workshop series of the Nonprofit Management Training Program
A collaborative initiative of Temple University Harrisburg’s Nonprofit Evaluation, Services & Training (NEST) and the Temple University Center for Social Policy and Community Development (CSPCD)

People really value a good supervisor – it makes their work life easier and more rewarding. But are you using supervisory concepts and methods that work?
Whether you supervise a few or a number of employees, or coordinate a team, a project, or program, this workshop series is for you. During these engaging and thought-provoking sessions, you will learn how to tap your own experience and that of your employees to improve your effectiveness as a supervisor.

Temple University Harrisburg will host the series, which will be videoconferenced between Harrisburg and Philadelphia. The cost for each workshop is $40 per person, and the entire nine-hour series costs $100 per person. Special discounts apply for groups.

* This workshop series has been approved for nine continuing education credits (CEs) through co-sponsorship of Temple University Harrisburg, a Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors pre-approved provider of continuing education. These credit hours satisfy requirements for LSW/LCSW/LMFT/LPC biennial license renewal. Generic continuing education units (CEUs) also are available for non-licensed professionals. The processing fee for CEs and CEUs is $15.
About the Trainer
Skip Brown is ConnectSynergy’s owner and principal consultant. Skip provides results-based organizational development and training services, including virtual workshops and long-term on-site consulting tailored to your organization’s needs. Skip’s passion is helping staff, executive directors, boards, committees and volunteers work mutually and to achieve their agencies’ missions. Since 2005, ConnectSynergy has worked with dozens of nonprofit organizations in south-central Pennsylvania. Skip earned a master’s degree in community psychology from the Penn State University.
