Experience an Interactive Workshop on Critical NONPROFIT LEGAL ISSUES
Presented by Laura Solomon, Esq., whose law practice is devoted exclusively to nonprofits
Nonprofits routinely face complicated legal challenges. Here’s your chance to be proactive, anticipating what might occur, and being prepared with an answer that you know is on solid legal footing. Issues like:
- disclosing and reporting misuse of funds
- charitable solicitation questions
- naming rights quandries
- honoring donor intent
- affiliations, mergers, acquisitions
- conflicts of interest
- tax implications, including UBITS (unrelated business income tax)
This is your chance to interact with a bonafide nonprofit legal expert who will tell it to you straight, when you answer the question of What Would You Do? Don’t be caught wishing you knew the right answers.
When: May 4, 2017, 9 to 10:30 am
