The Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute (NELI), Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, is accepting applicants for its 2009 Executive Leadership Certificate program. Learn more about the program at an upcoming Information Session in Philadelphia or Bryn Mawr in October and November.
The NELI program goal is to increase leader effectiveness and thereby organizational capacity through a rigorous curriculum that focuses on the individual, the organization and building a strong peer network.
The NELI classes are filled with leaders from a variety of disciplines including but not limited to social work, law, business and management. NELI Fellows are eager to take their organizations to a higher level of effectiveness, to develop professional networks with others who truly understand the context in which the work is done, and to learn about their personal leadership attributes and styles. And after the NELI year concludes, Fellows join a vibrant and growing network of Alumni dedicated to professional development.
The Executive Leadership Certificate is earned during a 10-day program that unfolds over eight months beginning April 16, 2009 and wrapping up November 14, 2009. Admission is selective and applications must be accompanied by a letter of nomination endorsing the application from the agency’s board of directors or supervisor.
