Nonprofit Connect: Offering Student Support to Nonprofits

Posted by Netter Center for Community Partnerships on September 16, 2025

The Netter Center for Community Partnerships’ Nonprofit Connect program at the University of Pennsylvania offers organizations the support of a Penn student during the academic year. Our volunteer teams (each consisting of 5-7 Penn undergraduates) would collaborate with you to help solve organizational challenges by providing two-semesters’ worth of remote, project-based assistance, such as:

  • Developing a marketing, media, and/or grant-writing strategy
  • Creating a branding strategy, including a pitch deck, slogan, logo, and social media presence, as well as strategies for organizational development
  • Expanding fundraising strategies, plans, and sources
  • And more

In the fall semester (Oct-Dec), student teams will complete a shorter, focused project tailored to your organization’s needs. In the spring semester (Jan-Apr), the same team will continue working with you on a project of similar length that is designed to be more involved and build on the relationship established in the fall.

If this is of interest to your organization, please fill out this form and let us know which services listed above, and/or any additional support services, could be helpful to you.

PLEASE NOTE that while we will try our very best to fulfill all requests, there is a possibility we will be unable to match you with a project team. If that is the case, we will notify you. Thank you for your understanding.

Our students look forward to working with your organization and learning from you throughout the year.
