Join us for the next session of RSM’s Nonprofit Breakfast Series. The event includes breakfast, networking and key information, and a panel discussion on identifying new revenue sources beyond the traditional modes of giving.
Ultimately, for a nonprofit to be sustainable, it must bring in more money than it spends. In other words, it must make a profit, although not for the for-profit purpose of increasing wealth.
Business models traditionally used by for-profit companies must now become a part of a nonprofit’s arsenal, too. Our panel of professionals will explore:
- How do nonprofits decide which business opportunities are worth the risk?
- When do grant makers view these business models positively and negatively?
- Will grant makers fund start-up costs?
- Do these models require different personnel?
- Are there particular regulatory and governmental issues to be concerned about?
All sessions in the series will feature interactive panel discussions on topics facing you and other organizations in the nonprofit arena. We hope you’ll join us for this and other upcoming programs for real-time discussions and networking with leaders in the nonprofit community.
