Nonpartisan Candidate Guides
Posted by Campus Election Engagement Project on September 26, 2016
CEEP’s nonpartisan candidate guides are derived from candidate websites, public candidate stands and trusted sources like Votesmart.org, Factcheck.org, and Countable.us. We’ve been creating them since 2012, when schools asked for a clear and concise resource to sort through conflicting candidate claims, and they’ve gotten sterling responses from, faculty, administrators, and students. We’re delighted to have a 2016 lead researcher who spent 19 years as a senior editor and manager at Encyclopædia Britannica, and we’d love to see them distributed off-campus as well, so please do circulate or link to them.
To help you and your campus team use these guides, CEEP has created a guide on why they matter for students and how to most effectively distribute and use them. Download it here.
