Nominate a change maker
Posted by on March 01, 2010
Hollywood will celebrate its stars next Sunday at the annual Academy Awards.
But Philadelphia celebrates our heroes—the hard-working community leaders, donors and volunteers who make social change happen in the Delaware Valley—every fall at the Tribute to Change.
This year’s Tribute to Change will be held in September. But we don’t know yet who will be honored.
Can you think of a person or an organization that you think should be recognized at the 2010 Tribute to Change?

Last year’s Tribute to Change was a huge success. Almost 600 people—from all over the region—came together to celebrate Harvey Finkle and his social justice photography at the National Constitution Center.
The 2010 decisions about which people or organizations to honor are still wide open.
All nominees must be creating social change in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia or Camden counties. Nominees can be:
* Leaders
* Volunteers
* Donors
* Organizations
Nominations are due by March 12, 2010.
Can you take a few minutes now to nominate an individual or organization whose work you think should be recognized by Delaware Valley’s progressive community in 2010?
