NextFab membership and training for teachers (and others!)
Posted by NextFab on February 26, 2018
NextFab is a network of collaborative makerspaces for creators of any skill level or interest.
Turn an idea into reality, develop a product or business, and create something you only dared to dream up – all while growing your own skills and finding your passions.
At NextFab, we provide access to machinery, education, membership, community, events, and professional services for anything you want to fabricate. By combining digital technology with traditional tools, we’re finding cutting-edge ways to make things, solve problems, and learn by doing. This is the future of making, and it’s yours to create.
It may be relevant to teachers who have kids who could benefit, but each junior membership requires a supervising adult.
In general, we offer a 20% discount on classes and certain levels of membership for teachers. We also schedule classes to fit the needs and time constraints of each individual student: scheduling something for a teacher to take with us at 3:30 on a Wednesday, for example, is no issue.
