Next Step: From Freedom to Equity Walk-A-Thon and Health Fair – May 21

Join the Black Doctors Consortium for our inaugural Next Step: From Freedom to Equity Walk-A-Thon and Health Fair. Next Step is a 1.9 Walk-A-Thon that will begin with welcome remarks from Dr. Ala Stanford, BDC Founder/CEO and local leaders at Broad and Master Streets.
The walk will kick-off promptly at 8:30am and conclude at 11:00am at the Dr. Ala Stanford Center for Health Equity (2001 W. Lehigh Avenue) with a Health Fair (11am-4pm). Walkers and the community will have opportunities to receive various health screenings including blood pressure and cholesterol checks, dental exams via Temple University School of Dentistry, eye exams via the Philadelphia Eagles Foundation Eye Mobile, diabetes testing with LabCorp and so much more! There will also be fitness fun for the entire family, children’s activities such as face painting, music and food! We hope to see you there!
