STIMULATING MATH EDUCATION OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM
Figure This! provides free real-world math resources in English and Spanish for middle school aged students and their parents. Developed by math teachers, Figure This! demonstrates the relevance of math to everyday life and emphasizes key concepts students should be learning in school. Parental involvement is critical to student success, and the Figure This! challenges are family-friendly and fun activities that parents will feel comfortable doing at home. Figure This! is also being used as a resource in after-school and summer educational programs. Interested teachers, parents and children are encouraged to visit the Figure This! website or call the 800 number (1-877-GO-SOLVE) to order FREE copies of the Spanish Figure This! challenge book.
