New Website: PolicyLink
Posted by PolicyLink on May 26, 2014
On behalf of the entire PolicyLink team, I’m so very pleased to unveil the new PolicyLink.org.
I hope you’ll click the link and go inside to learn about the work we do in partnership with you and others to advance economic and social equity in America. Too many low-income people and communities of color are being left behind and lack the necessities of affordable housing, transportation, access to healthy food, and more.
Together, we can remove hurdles and build the policy strategies that can secure better futures for everyone. As the nation increasingly becomes one in which the majority of people are people of color, the economic future of the United States depends on making sure that everyone is prepared to contribute their skills to the growth of the nation. At PolicyLink, we believe that equity is the superior growth model: all of our work is focused on achieving that reality. With you, we want to build an all-in nation where everyone can participate and prosper.
To help fulfill that aspiration, we’ve created a new PolicyLink.org that is more robust, engaging, and user friendly. It offers more information, more ways to connect to issues-including a dynamic new library of PolicyLink resources-as well as recent and archived issues of America’s Tomorrow newsletter, which chronicles the growth of the economic equity work. And Equity Blog is on the site, showcasing equity news, ideas, and successes.
Visit PolicyLink.org and see for yourself. Join us on Twitter to let us know what #EquityIs to you.
