The Algebra Project (AP) Network is a national mathematics literacy effort driven by three collaborating organizations, Algebra Project Inc. (AP Inc.), Southern Initiative of the Algebra Project Inc. (SIAP), and the Young Peoples? Project Inc (YPP), each specializing in different aspects of work in pursuit of mathematics literacy for all students. The mission of AP Network is to insure that youth in under-served rural and inner-city areas, particularly African-American and Latino/a children, are equipped with the mathematical skills required for full citizenship in a technological society.
