New Website: MEE Community Network
Posted by on December 7, 2009
MEE is pleased to announce the launch of a new Website for MEE Community Network members and other non-profit/community-based organizations. The new Website allows you free, unprecedented access to MEE’s groundbreaking primary research and the opportunity to network and share ideas with people across the country who are interested in health and life outcomes of often-overlooked populations. This innovative site will connect thousands of committed individuals with information and resources that support important grassroots work in urban communities.
Our hope is that this Website becomes an online destination that you routinely visit for information regarding hard-to-reach, underserved urban audiences. The Website features:
* Access to MEE’s UrbanTrends online archives, which contain more than 150 articles that reflect MEE’s years of research about the urban lifestyle, communications, entertainment, HIV/AIDS/STIs, physical and mental health issues, teen sexuality, violence prevention, access to higher education, financial literacy, parenting, and media/technology;
* Access to MEETV.com, an online video library containing footage from MEE’s most fascinating research projects and materials developed for various community education campaigns;
* Links to the latest grants, scholarships and RFP’s through our online catalog of resources;
* A directory of MEE Community Network members across the country;
* Access to the online version of MEE’s Community Mental Wellness Toolkit;
* Links to MEE’s latest UrbanTrends Special Edition, focused on obesity prevention;
* Information about upcoming MEE workshop offerings; and
* Much, much more.
