SPOTLIGHT ON SMALL SCHOOLS
A new education website, funded by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is now online. The spotlight for the site’s debut is on small schools. Future topics include Race and Education, Standardized Testing, and Literature for Young Readers. Features include excerpts from books, and, currently, an interview with Thomas Toch author of “High Schools on a Human Scale: How Small Schools Can Transform American Education.” The site also contains links to model small schools and other resources.
