Posted by on September 28, 2009
Website launched for GLBT History Month
A website celebrating GLBT History Month 2009 has been created Equality Forum on behalf of a coalition of national organizations advocating on behalf of the lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender community.
The site features a variety of GLBT History Month 2009 resources, including a 2½- minute overview video showcasing all 31 “GLBT Icons” to be celebrated each day during the month.
The 93 Icons with resources for 2006, 2007 and 2008 are archived on the site. Icon videos are offered for free to educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, for profit companies and the public.
