Brookings Promotes Urban Center to Metro Program, Launches New Homepage
The Brookings Institution recently announced that the former Center on Urban and Metropolitan Policy will become the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program. The program restructuring reflects the rising importance of metropolitan issues to the domestic and global challenges that Brookings seeks to address. The Metropolitan Policy Program has a new homepage and navigation that includes: an up-to-date list of all 2004 publications; downloadable text versions of speeches and PowerPoint presentations from recent events; and a revamped commentary section at MetroViews. To see the new Metropolitan Policy Program online, visit the Brookings Institution website.
