New Website: Agriculture education
Posted by on February 20, 2004
The Pennsylvania Department of Education has partnered with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture to promote agricultural education in the schools of the Commonwealth by developing an agricultural education resource website called the “Marketplace for the Mind”. This website can be accessed at the following link, http://www.marketplaceforthemind.com. Teachers can find a host of curriculum materials sorted by academic standards in environment and ecology and science and technology. The website also features hands-on learning activities, ideas for science fair projects, a speakers’ bureau, scholarship and grant opportunities, information on current issues, career spotlights, associated links, and an overview of agriculture in Pennsylvania.
