New Webinar Series: Pathways of Social Impact: A Series to Unpack Higher Education for the Public Good – Jan 15
Posted by Campus Compact on December 23, 2025
The recently published Pathways of Social Impact: Higher Education for the Public Good brings together a range of perspectives to deepen our understanding of students’ interests, motivations, and approaches to social change. At its core is the Pathways framework—a tool designed to help educators better understand and support students’ evolving civic identities and engagement strategies.
The first webinar in this series, Pathways Practitioner Profiles, will be on January 15, 2026, 1:00-2:00 PM. In this webinar, we take a closer look at the Pathways Practitioner Profiles.
The Pathways framework presents a typology designed to highlight distinctions in ways to engage in social change without intending to sever the connections between them. Each pathway overlaps with multiple other pathways, so that activities falling in one pathway may also exist in another.
The Practitioner Profiles acknowledge this interconnectivity while working to clearly articulate the knowledge, skills, and attributes from the perspective of each pathway. They are delineated only out of necessity to define the scope of inquiry and offered as a preliminary foundation from which future work can grow. They are designed as accessible and concrete resources for advisors and students.
Additional webinars will be held on February 11 & 19, and April 14.
