Strengthening Partnerships for Housing Opportunities, a study published by the National League of Cities with support from HUD and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, is a guide to federal programs and grant making institutions that support municipal affordable housing development. The report gives objectives, eligibility requirements, and contact information for housing assistance programs administered by HUD and the Department of Agriculture’s Rural Housing Service. It also presents a sampling of national foundations that have partnered with cities to generate housing initiatives. For more on affordable housing programs and to download the report, visit the National League of Cities website.
